In the early 1990s Galles was one of CART's top teams. In 1993 his pair of drivers were Al Unser Jr. (champion in 1990) and Dany Sullivan (champion in 1988). And a third car was shared between the experienced Kevin Cogan and a Mexican rookie named Adrián Fernandez.

With serious financial problems, in 1994 the Galles team registered only 1 car for Adrián Fernandez. The strong sponsorship of Mexican beer Tecate would pay the team's bills.

For 1995, with the accounts balanced, it was possible to place a 2nd car on the track, with the Brazilian Marco Greco. Team leader Adrián Fernandez achieved his first podium in the category when he finished 3rd in Michigan. The car, a Lola T95/00 with a Mercedes-Benz engine, was a rocket. Adrián finished the season in 12th with 66 points earned.
