The March 751 was designed by Robin Herd and used during the 1975 Formula One season. The five (or six) examples produced were powered by a Ford Cosworth DFV V8 engine mated to a Hewland transmission. They were used by the Beta Team March, Lavazza March, and Penske Cars teams with drivers including Mark Donohue, Lella Lombardi, Vittorio Brambilla, and Hans-Joachim Stuck.
At Sweden, the 751 with Brambilla was pole position but retired early due to transmission issues. Its best outing was at the Austria Grand Prix where Brambilla finished first overall. Plagued by accidents and reliability issues, the Beta Team would finished the season in 8th place, having achieved 8 points, just one point behind the John Player Team Lotus team and two behind the UOP Shadow Racing Team.
